Xantrex Inverters

SW Series inverters were the industry standard for many years. Their cruder sine wave makes them a bit more efficient than competing units. Idle current is slightly lower than Outback. Unit is basically unchanged since 1995. Reliability is excellent.

TR series units (square wave) are cheap but I've definitely seen more problems since production was shifted to the Dominican Republic.
