This is by far the cheapest Renewable Energy to develop. On Lasqueti, most hydro sites are seasonal, so it is usually combined with solar for a more consistent power supply. I built and installed my waterwheel five years ago and since then have installed several micro-hydro systems on Lasqueti. Usually I refer all hydro jobs to my friend and mentor, John Lindsay. He is the local master of hydro technology with over twenty years of experience in the field. Here is a good example.
