Wind power is graceful and thrilling to watch. A well-sited windmill will produce much more power than solar panels per dollar invested. Wind installations are much more challenging than solar from both a maintenance and installation perspective. They really only make sense in the most optimal sites, which, unfortunately, are rare on Lasqueti. Generally I will tell you to spend your money on solar. I have only installed one windmill to date, so I will not pretend to be an expert on the subject. But if you have one of those optimal sites such as this example, I will be happy to help you develop it.
